CAS: Carole Malinvaud (FRA) elected president of the Ordinary Arbitration Division

"On the occasion of its 46th meeting, held in Sydney (AUS), the International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS), the governing body of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), elected Carole Malinvaud (FRA) as President of the CAS Ordinary Arbitration Division," announced the CAS on 02/12/2016.

"Ms Malinvaud is a partner in an international law firm in Paris, France, where she co-heads the
international arbitration practice," added the CAS.

The CAS is composed of two divisions: the Ordinary Arbitration Division and the Appeals Arbitration
Division.
• The Ordinary Division conducts arbitration procedures arising from commercial contracts
linked to sport.
• The Appeals Division handles disputes arising from decisions taken by the internal
bodies of sports organisations.
