Matchday 16 of the 2016-17 Premier League season drew an average of 33,817 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 94%, on Tuesday and Wednesday 13/12 and 14/12/2016. The average attendance of the English first division is currently at 35,674 fans per game on the season (average stadium fill rate: 96%).

West Ham United - Burnley (1-0) registered the highest attendance, with 56,990 spectators to London Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (60,000 seats, stadium fill rate: 99.99%). This match is the highest attendance for a West Ham home game in the Premier League since moving to London Stadium at the start of the 2016-17 season.

Six games drew more than 30,000 spectators during Matchday 16, held mid-week, and seven games of ten had a stadium fill rate of 96% or more.
