Bundesliga: Rothaus (brewery) continues its premium partnership with SC Freiburg until 2018-19

The German brewery Rothaus has extended, for two seasons (2017-2019), as a premium sponsor of SC Freiburg (Bundesliga), announced on 14/12/2016. This partnership, in the second level in the sponsorhsip hierarchy of the club, was originally scheduled to expire at the end of the 2016-17 fiscal year. The agreement is estimated at €0.5m per season by German media.

This partnership makes Rothaus beer the only beer served in the refreshment and hospitality spaces of the Schwarzwald-Stadion. The brewery also receives visibility on advertising panels of the SC Freiburg stadium, as well as on the communication media of the German club.

Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus AG (literally "Rothaus brewer of the state of Baden"), has as its sole shareholder the State of Baden-Württemberg. Its headquarters are in Grafenhausen-Rothaus, about 60 kilometers from Freiburg im Breisgau. The two cities are located in Baden-Wuerttemberg (southwest Germany).
