UEFA Foundation for Children: 2015-16 Activities Report

"The UEFA Foundation for Children was established in 2015, reflecting UEFA 's desire to use football as a force for good
in society," said UEFA on 13/12/2016, in presenting its 2015-16 activity report.

The idea of the UEFA Foundation for Children, launched by Michel Platini (FRA), then UEFA president, was developed by the Executive Committee and the member federations at the 38^th Ordinary Congress of the European confederation in Astana (KAZ), on 26/03/2014.

The Foundation supports 51 projects in 44 countries and 500,000 children and young adults have benefited from its activities.
