Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 15 of the 2016-17 season, Schalke - Freiburg draws 60,445 fans

Matchday 15 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season drew an average of 33,725 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 94%, from 16/12 to 18/12/2016. The average attendance of the Bundesliga is currently at 41,356 fans per game (average stadium fill rate: 93%) on the season.

Schalke 04 - Freiburg (1-1) registered the highest attendance of the matchday with 60,445 spectators at the Verltins-Arena (sold out). This is the sixth time in eight home games in 2016-17 that the Gelsenkirchen club have exceeded 60,000 spectators in its stadium of 62,271 seats.

Only five of the nine games of Matchday 15 drew more than 40,000 spectators, making it the second lowest matchday in terms of attendance in 2016-17.
