TSV 1860 Munich: Siegfried Schneider elected chairman of the supervisory board

Siegfried Schneider was unanimously elected chairman of the supervisory board of TSV 1860 Munich (2.Bundesliga, German 2^nd division), the German club announced on the 28/07/2013. He replaces Otto Steiner who was in charge since the 01/08/2011 and resigned on the 11/07/2013.

Siegfried Schneider is a member of the supervisory board of TSV 1860 Munich since the 11/04/2012. Since then, he has been in charge in leading the project for the construction of a new stadium for the club, which shares the Allianz Arena with Bayern Munich since 2005. He is also a member of the Bavarian association for the promotion of sport in local schools and clubs.

Christian Waggershauser was elected to be Siegfried Scheider's deputy. Richard Ostermeier and Markus Bauer have been re-elected to the club's supervisory board.

TSV 1860 Munich finished 6^th in the 2.Bundesliga in 2012/13.
