France: Jean-Michel Aulas promoted to the rank of officer of the Légion d’honneur on 01/01/2017

Jean-Michel Aulas (FRA) has been promoted to the rank of officer of the French Légion d’honneur, by decree of the President of the French Republic, François Hollande, dated 30/12/2016 and published in the official journal on 01/01/2017. The president of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) is cited in the quorum of the Ministry of the City, Youth, and Sports.

Jean-Michel Aulas, a knight of the Légion d’honneur since 23/10/2006, founded and chairs the Cegid group, which specialises in publishing management software. He is also vice-president of the union of (primarily) Ligue 1 clubs the Première Ligue, vice-president of the LFP, and and Executive Committee member of the ECA.
