SportAccord Convention 2017: conference in Aarhus (Denmark) from 02 to 07/04/2017

The SportAccord Convention 2017 takes place at the Scandinavian Center of Aarhus (DEN) from 02 to 07/04/2017. This event brings together, each year since 2003, international federations, rights holders, organising committees, and sport event host cities around discussion panels and exhibitions.

Organized by SportAccord, the association of international sports federations, the 2017 conference revolves around five themes: sports law, a forum of host cities, media, a digital summit, and a plenary conference. Participants include (as of 04/01/2017) Dan Jones (senior partner of the Sports Business Group of the audit and consulting firm Deloitte), David Haggerty (International Tennis Federation President), and Brian Cookson (president of Union Cycliste Internationale).

The registration fee is CHF 1,750 (€1,634 as of 04/01/2017) per person. In total, over 1 500 participants, representing more than 1000 organisations and 99 nationalities, are expected in Aarhus.
