Facebook: 238,230,000 fans in total for the 20 Premier League clubs (January 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Premier League season have a cumulative total of 238.23 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 02/01/2017. This total makes the Premier League the most popular European Top 5 league on Facebook, with 11.91 million fans on average per club.

Manchester United are the most followed English club, with 72.11 million fans. Crystal Palace became the 14th English club to cross the one million followers mark on Facebook, a record among the Top 5 leagues.

The Premier League is the only league where all clubs have at least 300,000 Facebook fans.
