Bundesliga: Audi extends its partnership with Hertha Berlin for three seasons (€300,000 per year)

German automaker Audi has extended its sponsorship partnership with Hertha Berlin (German second division champions in 2012/13, promoted to the Bundesliga in 2013/14) until the end of the 2015/16 season, on the 29/07/2013.

The amount of the agreement is estimated at €300,000 per year. Audi, property of the Volkswagen Group, is Berlin's partner since 2006/07.

The company will provide Hertha's players with vehicles and will have the opportunity to implement marketing initiatives at the Olympic Stadium (including contests to win prizes), in addition to brand visibility and hospitality packages provided by the club.

"The fact that an international company like Audi is a longstanding partner of the club, shows the attractiveness of the Hertha Berlin's brand," said Christian Hunter, head of the SportFive team who concluded the deal on behalf of the club.
