Think Football!: "The pitch before the business, business in the service of the pitch" (G. Houllier)

"The digital, technological, and industrial revolutions offer immense prospects. Football must play a full part. And everyone should take advantage of all the technological advances that every day accompany our steps. It is imperative that these innovations are placed at the service of football, and we must not distort the meaning or the objective. The pitch comes before the business, and the business must be in service of the pitch," said Gerard Houllier, the Ambassador for Think Football! 2017, in his opening speech for the event at the Université Paris-Dauphine on 10/01/2017.

This presentation was one of three keynote speeches introducing the programme, during this first edition of Think Football!, a day of discussions and exchanges centered on innovation in sport, and organised by News Tank Football and its partners and involving several hundred actors throughout sport, in Paris (FRA) on 10/01/2017.
