Premier League: EA Sports partners with Liverpool FC until July 2016

EA Sports, the subsidiary of the American video games publisher Electronic Arts, has signed a three-year partnership with Liverpool FC (7th of the Premier League in 2012/13), the club announced on the 01/08/2013. Both parties are now linked until July 2016.

The deal allows EA Sports to use the image of the English club for its advertising campaigns. Activations will be implemented on game days at Anfield, Liverpool's stadium. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in FIFA14 contests and tournaments and get the chance to win different prizes.

In 2013/14, the video game publisher will create content related to Liverpool FC, such as simulated matches, wallpapers and images.
