LaLiga Santander: Plus500 (broker) extends as shirt sponsor of Atletico Madrid until 2017-18

Plus500, a financial brokerage firm headquartered in Cyprus, has extended as the main shirt sponsor of Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) until the end of the 2017-18 season, the club announced on 09/01/2017. Plus500 has been the shirt sponsor of Atlético since the 2015-16 season, according to the original contract signed on 24/06/2015. The agreement would still be around €11m per year, according to Spanish media.

Plus500 replaced the National Tourist Office of Azerbaijan, who paid an estimated €12m for the main shirt space in 2014-15. Plus500 broker was the back of the shirt sponsor of Atlético for half a season, from January to May 2015.

Plus500 will continue to benefit from a broad visibility package, including the LED boards at the Vicente Calderon (54,900 seats), as well as in the new enclosure of Atlético, Wanda Metropolitano, next season.
