DFL: launching the tender for the official ball of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga (2018-2022)

DFL Sports Enterprises has launched a tender to suppler the official balls of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga for the 2018-2022 period, announced the subsidiary company of the DFL responsible for media and commercial rights, on 16/01/2017. Interested companies, which can acquire one or both packages offered, have until 23/01/2017 to register for this tender.

• The first package covers the rights to "develop, manufacture, sell and advertise the Official Match Ball, the Official Winter Ball as well as replicas of the Official Match Ball from season 2018-19 until season 2021-22. The Official Match Ball will be used in all Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga matches, in the relegation matches in which teams from both leagues play at home, as well as in the Supercup competition," stated DFL Enterprises.
