Premier League: attendance for Matchday 22 of 2016-17, Arsenal - Burnley draws 59,955 spectators

Matchday 22 of the 2016-17 Premier League season drew and average of 35,905 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 97%, on 21 and 22/01/2017. The average attendance of the English top division is currently 35,808 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 96%).

Arsenal - Burnley (2-1) recorded the best attendance of the weekend, with 59,955 spectators at the Emirates Stadium (60,260 seats, fill rate: 99%).

Six games drew more than 30,000 spectators during Matchday 22, eight games of 10 posted a fill rate above 94%.

  • The 20 Premier League clubs in 2015-16 recorded an average of 36,409 spectators per game.
    • Average stadium fill rate: 96%.
