Dave Reddin appointed head of performance services for English national teams

The FA (English Football Association) has appointed former England rugby management official Dave Reddin as their new head of performance services for the new national football centre, St George’s Park, on the 06/08/2013. He will officially take up his post in February 2014 and report directly to the governing body’s director of Elite Development, Dan Ashworth.

Dave Reddin will be in charge of sports science, medicine, performance analysis, psychology and physiotherapy.

St. George's Park, which opened in October 2012, houses players, coaches, administrators and managers of English football. It is both a youth academy and a training center. It has 12 outdoor pitches, training and medical rehabilitation facilities, and science laboratories which aim at studying the development of the players.
