The Netherlands: bicycle tires manufacturer CST to sponsor Ajax Amsterdam until 2016

CST, a Taiwanese manufacturer of tyres for bicycles, has agreed a three-year sponsorship of Ajax Amsterdam (Dutch champions in 2012/13), the club announced on the 01/08/2013. The deal, which runs until the end of the 2015/16 season, will be formally signed on the 20/08/2013.

The agreement, which represents a third-level partnership for the club, allows CST to use Ajax branding and to appear on advertising boards at the Amsterdam ArenA (53,000 seats) as well as on the club's communication medium.

CST is a subsidiary of Cheng Shin Rubber, a company founded in Taiwan in 1967. It now distributes products to 170-plus countries, employing over 25,000 people. Its European headquarters are based in Holland.

"We are proud to link CST to the most successful club in the Netherlands," said Cheng Shin Holland chief executive Jack Duis.
