Germany: Reinhard Rauball unanimously elected League President for a further three years

Reinhard Rauball was reelected League Association President of the DFL (Deutsche Fußball Liga, the German Football League) until 2016, at the league's annual general meeting on the 07/08/2013. A single candidate, the president of Borussia Dortmund was elected after a unanimous vote by the 36 1.Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga clubs that make up the General Assembly of the German professional clubs. He has been in office since 2007 and enters his third consecutive three-year term.

Peter Peters (Schalke 04) and Harald Strutz (FSV Mayence 05) were re-elected as first and second Vice-Presidents. Heribert Bruchhagen (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Karl Hopfner (Bayern Munich) will represent the 1.Bundesliga clubs at the board of directors of the DFL, when Helmut Hack (Greuther Fürth) and Ansgar Schwenken (VfL Bochum) will represent those evolving in 2.Bundesliga (second German division).
