Premier League : consumer finance company afb to partner with Manchester United in Kenya

afb, a Mauritius-based consumer finance company operating in Kenya and Ghana, has agreed a five-year partnership deal with Manchester United (Premier League champions in 2012/13), the club announced on the 07/08/2013. The agreement runs until the end of the 2017/18 season.

The partnership will see afb produce and market the official Manchester United credit card in Kenya. The company will also organize contests to allow its customers to win signed shirts and branded merchandise, as well as match tickets to the club’s games at Old Trafford.

"We want to give Manchester United supporters the opportunity of getting closer to their club, and we hope that the millions of fans come and enjoy this unique offering. In the first 6 months, we will be limiting the number of cards to 5,000 Limited Edition Cards," said afb Group Chief Executive Officer, Karl Westvig.
