LaLiga Santander: over 5.08 million viewers in Spain for Matchday 20 of 2016-17

At least 5.08 million viewers watched the 10 games of Matchday 20 of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander, played from 27 to 30/01/2017. 4.512 million subscribers followed the games on pay-TV channels (beIN LaLiga and Movistar Partidazo). This is the best cumulative audience for the two pay-TV groups since the beginning of the 2016-17 season.

The best TV audience of the weekend was for Real Madrid CF - Real Sociedad (3-0), which drew 1.254 million viewers on average on the pay-TV channel Movistar Partidazo on Sunday, 29/01/2017 (20:45 CET). This figure represented a 6.6% audience share for the channel of the Telefonica group, which ranked first in the Spanish market for pay-TV for the entire day.

• Real Betis - FC Barcelona (1-1) drew 664,000 viewers on the pay-TV channel beIN LaLiga on Sunday, 29/01/2017 (12:00). Audience share: 8.3%.

• On Spanish free-TV, Osasuna - Malaga (1-1) drew 568,000 viewers on Gol (Mediapro channel relaunched on 02/06/2016), on Friday, 27/01/2017 (kick-off at 20:45). Audience share: 3.4%.
