Switzerland: Raiffeisen (bank) extends as title sponsor of the Super League for 2017-2021

Raiffeisen will continue as main sponsor of the SFL, of which the Swiss banking group will be the title sponsor of the Super League for four more seasons (2017-2021), announced on 30/01/2017. Raiffeisen has connected its brand to the Swiss first division since 2012-13.

The partnership extension was negotiated by the agency InfrontRingier Sports & Entertainment Switzerland, the commercial partner of the Swiss Football League. InfrontRingier pays the Swiss Professional Football League a sum estimated between CHF 4m and 5m per year for the 2012-2017 period (about €3.7m and €4.7m as of 31/01/2017) for the naming rights to the Swiss first division, according to local media. This amount could reach between CHF 5m and 7m per year for the 2017 to 2021 period (about €4.7m and €6.6m).

In addition to the title sponsorship of the Super League, Raiffeisen gets high visibility on LED boards at the stadiums of the Swiss first division.
