Matchday 20 of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander season drew an average attendance of 25,985 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 82%, from 27 to 30/01/2017. The average attendance of the Spanish league is currently 28,428 fans per game in 2016-17 (average fill rate: 75%).

Real Madrid - Real Sociedad (3-0) recorded the highest attendance of the matchday, with 66,693 spectators at the Santiago Bernabeu (fill rate: 83%). This was only the second time in 11 home games this season that Real Madrid did not exceed 67,000 spectators.

Only three games of Matchday 20 drew more than 23,000 spectators, and six games displayed a fill rate above 80%.
