Atlético Madrid: 40,026 socios have already booked their place at Wanda Metropolitano for 2017-18

40,026 socios of Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) have already booked their place in the new stadium of the club, Wanda Metropolitano, which will be used from the 2017-18 season, the club announced on 26/01/2016.

This figure was reached after the first subscription reservation phase for the new venue, which was reserved for the socio members of the club register before 15/05/2016. A second phase will be open to socios registered after 15/05/2016, then a third and final phase will be accessible to the public.

With 40,026 seats already booked, Atlético Madrid will have at least 60% of its capacity used for socio season ticket holders in the Wanda Metropolitano (67,000 seats). In 2016-17, the club has 48,000 season ticket holders at the Vicente Calderónn, representing 87% of the capacity of the enclosure, the top mark in the European Top 5 leagues.
