UEFA: composition and progression of turnover (in €m)

UEFA posted a turnover of €2099.4m during the 2014-15 season (07/01/2014 to 30/06/2015), up 21.3% from 2013-14 (€1730.4m). On a four-year cycle (compared to 2010-11), the turnover of the European body grew 51.6%.

Apart from years of which include the organisation of the Euro finals tournament (as in 2011-12), media rights account for 78% to 80.5% of the revenue of UEFA.

On its own, the TV rights to the Champions League comprises between 55% and 64% of the total turnover, depending on the year. UEFA is expected to publish its financial report for the 2015-16 fiscal year at the end of February or March, 2017.

  • The 2011-12 UEFA turnover includes revenues from the Euro 2012 finals tournament, or €1390.896m in total, distributed as follows:
    • Audiovisual rights: €837.16m
    • Commercial rights: €313.9m
    • Ticketing: €136.12m
    • Hospitality: €101.98m
    • Other income: €1.73m
