Paris SG: to celebrate the Chinese New Year, the club sold shirts written in Mandarin

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) sold shirts of four of its players written in Mandarin for the Chinese New Year, on Saturday 28/01/2017, when China entered the Year of the Rooster.

The shirts of Edinson Cavani (URU), Marco Verratti (ITA), Angel Di Maria (ARG), and Thiago Silva (BRA), with their written in Mandarin, were available.

"Paris Saint-Germain is increasingly popular in China. The club communicates on the Chinese social networks Weibo, Tencent, and WeChat, and recently on Miaopai platform. Overall, more than three million Chinese people follow the club's news," stated PSG on 28/01/2017.

China: creation of a third fan PSG fan club

  • A new PSG fan club was created in the Harbin, a city of 10 million people in Manchuria (northeast China), for the Chinese New Year on 28/01/2017.
    • This fan club joins those of PSG in Shanghai and Guangzhou.
