Facebook: 74.75 million fans in total for the 20 clubs in Serie A TIM (February 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM season have cumulative 74.75 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/02/2017. The Serie A TIM is the fourth most popular Top 5 league on Facebook, behind the Premier League, LaLiga Santander, and the Bundesliga, with 3.73 million fans on average per club.

Juventus remain the most followed Italian club, with 25.26 million fans. The Turin club is also one which drew the most new fans in January 2017 (+68,740, + 0.3%). 14 Serie A TIM clubs drew fewer than 5000 new fans in January, the month in which the Italian top division was the Top 5 league which drew the fewest new fans (193,595 in total).

In percentage terms, Torino FC (+5.3% from 419,550 to 441,920) posted the best growth rate, and the club is approaching ninth position, currently held by Udinese Calcio (444,400 fans).
