Twitter: 14.79 million followers in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (February 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM season have 14.79 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/02/2017. The Serie A TIM is the third most-followed league in the Top 5, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with 739,556 followers on average per club.

AC Milan are the most followed Italian club, with 4.33 million subscribers, up 171,488 (+4.1%) compared to January 2017. They are also the Serie A TIM club which recorded the most new followers since January, as AC Milan extended its lead over Juventus (2^nd, 3.87 million).

At 9.4% (from 190,391 to 208,382), Cagliari Calcio are the Italian club which posted best percentage growth on Twitter in January 2017, the month in which it became the 13^th Serie A TIM club to exceed the 200,000 followers, as well as Chievo Verona and US Sassuolo.
