LaLiga: SeePuertoRico.com (tourism) demoted from the front to the back of the Sevilla shirt

CTPR (Compañía de Turismo de Puerto Rico), the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (territory in the Caribbean associated but not incorporated into the USA) is lowering the level of its partnership with Seville FC (LaLiga Santander), announced on 01/02/2017.

CTPR is thus demoted from first-level to second-level major partner in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Andalusian club. The brand "SeePuertoRico.com", which appeared on the front of the shirt of the Seville club since 28/10/2016, should appear on the back of the shirt for the rest of the 2016- 17 season. However, Sevilla FC faced Villarreal CF (0-0, Matchday 21 of LaLiga Santander, on 05/02/2017) with "SeePuertoRico.com" on the front of its shirt.

"Because of the fiscal crisis facing the country (Puerto Rico), the new government, formed after the elections on 08/11/2016, decided not to maintain the investment required for the club's principal partner status," said Sevilla FC on 01/02/2017.
