Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 19 of 2016-17, Dortmund - Leipzig draws 81,360 spectators

Matchday 19 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season drew an average attendance of 48,435 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 87%, from 03 to 05/02/2017. The average attendance of the German league is currently 41,084 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 92%).

Borussia Dortmund - RB Leipzig (1-0) recorded the best attendance of the matchday, with 81,360 spectators at Signal Iduna Park (sold out). Borussia Dortmund has drawn more than 80,000 spectators for all of its nine home games in 2016-17.

Six of the nine games of Matchday 19 drew more than 40,000 spectators, and eight posted a fill rate above 80%.

  • The 18 Bundesliga clubs recorded an average attendance of 43,325 spectators per game in 2015-16.
    • Average stadium fill rate: 93%.
