Vadim Vasilyev appointed vice chairman of AS Monaco in replacement for Jean-Louis Campora

Vadim Vasilyev was appointed vice president of AS Monaco by the Board of Directors, the club announced on the 08/08/2013. The Russian citizen succeeds Jean-Louis Campora, who was in office since January 2013 and resigned on the 08/08/2013.

Vadim Vasilyev retains his functions as sporting director. He will now be in charge of the overall management of the club, regarding all sporting, commercial, administrative and financial aspects.

"I am proud to become today the vice president of the club and I want to thank the President for the confidence he shows me," Vadim Vasilyev said on the 08/08/2013. "We will work together with all the club's employees to make sure AS Monaco FC regain their rank. We have a story with a great track record and we must now build our present and our future."

AS Monaco will start the 2013/14 Ligue 1 as a newly promoted club after winning the 2012/13 Ligue 2 championship. The club will play its first game of the season at Bordeaux on the 10/08/2013.
