Serie A TIM: FAAC (automatic doors) extends as Bologna FC shirt sponsor until 2017-18

FAAC (Fabbrica Automatismi Apertura Cancelli), an Italian manufacturer of automatic systems for opening and closing doors, has extended as the main shirt sponsor of Bologna FC 1909 (Serie A TIM) for the 2017-18 season, on 08/02/2017.

The collaboration, which began in 2015-16, had been extended for the 2016-17 fiscal year on 13/04/2016, with an option for another season. The financial allocation is estimated at €1m per season, plus €0.2m to €0.3m in bonuses based on sporting results, according to Italian media.

"The early renewal of the partnership with FAAC, after the one with Macron, demonstrates the credibility of the project in Bologna and the satisfaction of our partners in their investment. With this renewal, we confirm our commitment to grow together in the region, while ensuring the continuity of partnerships with our sponsors," said Christoph Winterling, marketing and commercial director of Bologna FC.
