Julian Clarke appointed Chief Executive Officer of News Corp Australia

Julian Clarke was appointed CEO of media and communication group News Corp Australia, on the 09/08/2013. He replaces Kim Williams, who was in office since 2011 and announced his retirement on the 09/08/2013. Julian Clarke takes office on the 12/08/2013.

Combined with our deep digital and broadcast bench, his appointment positions us exquisitely for the next phase of development in an era of great upheaval in the media business," indicated News Corp chief executive Robert Thomson on the 09/08/2013.

Julian Clarke was retired since 2007. He previously held the position of chairman at The Herald and Weekly Times.
