Bundesliga: DFB closes the "Yellow Wall" of Dortmund for 1 game after the incidents against Leipzig

The South Stand (25,000 seats) at Signal Iduna Park (81,359 capacity), the stadium of Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), will be closed during the Borussia Dortmund - VfL Wolfsburg match (Matchday 21 of the Bundesliga, on Saturday 18/02/2017, kick-off at 15:30 CET), the DFB announced on 13/02/2017. This sanction against the section called the "Yellow Wall" comes after the incidents surrounding the games against RB Leipzig (1-0, Matchday 19 04/02/2017) and in the first game in Leipzig (1-0, Matchday 2, on 10/09/2016), but also against 1.FSV Mainz 05 (2-1, Matchday 1, on 27/08/2016). The club was also fined €100,000.

In that game on 04/02/2017 against RB Leipzig, some of the supporters of the South Stand brandished hate messages and shouted insults. Pyrotechnical devices were also used. Outside the stadium, 28 people were arrested for violence against people identified as supporters of RB Leipzig. A dozen people were injured.
