LaLiga Santander: attendance for Matchday 22 of 2016-17, Athletic Club - La Coruña draws 41,469 fans

Matchday 22 of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander season drew an average attendance of 21,625 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 78%, from 10 to 13/02/2017. The average attendance of the Spanish league is currently 28,323 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 75%).

Athletic Club Bilbao - Deportivo de La Coruña (2-1) recorded the best attendance with 41,469 fans at the Estadio San Mamés (fill rate: 78%). This is the tenth time in 12 home games this season that Athletic have surpassed the 40,000 spectators mark.

Four games of Matchday 22 drew more than 20,000 spectators. However, only eight of 10 games exceeded a 70% fill rate.

  • The 20 La Liga clubs recorded an average attendance of 28,112 spectators per game in 2015-16.
    • Average stadium fill rate: 72%.
