France: FFF/LFP in Beijing is "An important step in our international development" (N. Le Graët)

"The opening of this office is an important step as part of our international development policy. China has launched an ambitious plan in favour of football. The French Federation had to accompany this dynamic in the most populous country and one of the most dynamic in the world," stated Noël Le Graët, president of the FFF, on 15/02/2017, on the eve of the inauguration of the joint FFF / LFP office for development and cooperation in Beijing, China.

"China represents a growth driver and a great opportunity to promote French football," added Noël Le Graët, and was represented in Beijing, for the opening ceremony, by Victoriano Melero, the deputy managing director of the Federation, including in charge of international relations, and by François Blaquart, the FFF national technical director.

The French Football Federation and the French Professional Football League inaugurated their joint office at 11:00 local time (04:00 CET) on 15/02/2017 at the Eclat Hotel in Beijing. The ceremony took place in the presence of Patrick Kanner, the French Minister of the City, Youth, and Sports…
