The one LaLiga Santander game per matchday broadcast on the Spanish free-TV channel Gol will also be available live via video streaming on Facebook, stated the Spanish League on 17/02/2017. The game will be available each matchday via the Facebook pages of Gol, the channel of the Spanish broadcasting group Mediapro, and LaLiga.

The first game co-broadcast via live-streaming on these Facebook pages was the LaLiga Santander Matchday 23 game Granada CF - Real Betis (4-1), on 17/02/2017 from 20:45 CET. "This is a commitment to innovation framed within the strategy of digital development of LaLiga with the aim that all fans of Spanish football can enjoy it," said LaLiga on 17/02/2017.

This initiative follows Facebook broadcasts by Mediapro for the Copa del Rey and a match of the Spanish Women's Liga via Facebook Live by LaLiga (see below).
