Champions League: the key business figures of FC Porto versus Juventus

At €341.1m in 2015-16, Juventus (Serie A TIM) posted a turnover almost six times higher than that of FC Porto (Liga NOS), which generated €75.8m, according to the Deloitte Football Money League 2017 (for Juve) and the official figures of FC Porto. The two clubs meet at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto (POR), in the Round of 16 of the 2016-17 Champions League, on Wednesday, 22/02/2017 (kick-off at 20:45 CET).

In 2015-16, a season in which Juventus won its 32nd title as the Italian champions (and its fifth consecutive), the Turin-based club was ranked 10th in Europe in terms of revenue. Juve's revenue was notably focused on TV rights (€195.7m, 4th best figure in Europe), which accounted for 57% of the total turnover of the club.

The audiovisual revenue alone of Juve was almost three times higher than the total revenue of FC Porto in 2015-16 (€75.8m), which was down 19% compared to 2014-15.
