World Football Forum: the 2017 edition to be held in Changsha, China, from 18 to 21/05/2017

World Football Forum 2017 will be held in Changsha, China, a city of 10 million inhabitants and the capital of Hunan Province, from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21/05/2017. The convention, held annually since 2011 by the agency Eventica Sport Marketing, is taking place for the first time outside Europe, after being held in Moscow from 2011 to 2015 and then in Paris in 2016.

Neither the complete programme nor the list of participants were available by 27/02/2017, but the 2017 edition aims to place the ecosystem of football - the leagues and bodies, football clubs, media, brands, suppliers of products and services - at "the heart of the new geography of football", namely China. The focus will be on development opportunities offered by the Chinese market and by new emerging football countries, including India.

The conferences and trade fair will be held at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre of Changsha, while the gala reception, networking events, promotional activities, and activations be held at the He Long Stadium (55,000 capacity) of the city.
