LaLiga: Bwin (sports betting) becomes an official partner of Atlético de Madrid until 2017-18

Bwin, the sports betting operator belonging to the British group GVC Holdings, has become an official partner of Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) until the end of the 2017-18 season, on 23/02/2017. The partnership, second level in sponsorship hierarchy of the Madrid club, includes an option for an additional season.

As part of the agreement, Bwin gets visibility into LED boards at the Estadio Vicente Calderon (54,907 capacity), and then those of the Wanda Metropolitano (67,000 capacity), the future stadium of AtléticoMadrid to be inaugurated at the beginning of the 2017-18 season. Bwin also gets visibility on the club's communications platforms and can deploy promotional campaigns on them.

"Bwin is delighted to announce a partnership with Atlético Madrid for the Spanish market. The history of Atlético, its international prestige, will be key to establish the Bwin strategy in this market," said Marcus Silva, the representative of the sports betting operator in Spain.
