LaLiga: Ballr (fantasy football game) sponsor of the Spanish League for three years (2017-2020)

Ballr, a free application for live fantasy football (simulation game), has become a sponsor of LaLiga on 22/02/2017. The contract covers a period of three years (2017-2020), but the amount was not disclosed.

As part of this partnership, an application developed by Ballr and dedicated to the Spanish Professional Football League will be created. Ballr allows users to choose a player playing in LaLiga Santander whose level in the application is updated based on his actual performance on the pitch.

Users can change players every five minutes. The application offers the ability for users to challenge each other, communicate with each other, and exchange points earned for prizes. Ballr gets visibility at events organised by LaLiga.

"LaLiga, which is fully immersed in its internationalisation process, has decided to combine its image with that of an international brand that has a major presence in Asia Pacific, area that LaLiga is strategically targeting and where the competition has over one billion viewers," said the Spanish League on 22/02/2017.
