Premier League: attendance for Matchday 26 of 2016-17, Chelsea - Swansea City draws 41,612 fans

Matchday 26 of the 2016-17 Premier League season drew an average attendance of 29,443 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 96%, from 25 to 27/02/2017. The average attendance of the English first division is currently 35,771 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 96%).

Chelsea FC - Swansea City FC (3-1) recorded the highest attendance of the matchday, with 41,612 spectators at Stamford Bridge (sold out). Chelsea have recorded a fill rate of above 99% for all its league home games thus far in 2016-17.

The eight games played of Matchday 26 all drew more than 20,000 spectators, and seven games posted a fill rate of at least 90%.

Two games of Matchday 26, Southampton FC - Arsenal FC and Manchester City FC - Manchester United FC, were postponed due to the participation of Southampton and Manchester United in the 2016-17 EFL Cup final (English league cup), with Manchester United winning (3- 2) at Wembley on Sunday, 26/02/2017.
