LaLiga Santander: Bwin (sports betting) becomes an official partner of Villarreal CF until 2017-18

Bwin, a sports betting operator belonging to the British GVC Holdings group, has become an official partner of Villarreal CF (LaLiga Santander) until the end of the 2017-18 season, announced on 28/02/2017. This is a second level partnership in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Spanish club.

As part of this agreement, Bwin gets visibility on the LED boards at the Estadio de la Ceramica (25,000 capacity). Bwin also gets visibility on the club's communications platforms and can deploy promotional campaigns on them.

• Bwin was previously the main shirt sponsor of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) during 2007-2013.
• The operator has become an official partner of Club Atlético de Madrid, on 23/02/2017, Sevilla FC the following day, and Valencia CF on 27/02/2017.
• As with the agreement with Villarreal CF, the above three partnerships also expire at the end of the 2017-18 season.
