Cycling: Tag Heuer (watchmaker) becomes official timekeeper of the Giro d'Italia

The Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has become the official timekeeper of the Giro d'Italia, announced RCS Sport, the organizer of the grand cycling tour of Italy, on 27/02/2017. The agreement concerns all the cycling events organised by the subsidiary RCS MediaGroup (see below).

"The presence of the Swiss watch brand will be signalled by high visibility at all events, as well as various social media initiatives, customer invitations and the organisation of unique and unconventional events," said RCS Sport. Tag Heuer was already present at the first two races organised by RCS Sport in 2017: the Tour of Dubai (Asia Tour, from 31/01 to 04/02/2017) and the Tour of Abu Dhabi (UCI WorldTour, 23 to 26/26/2017)

the Swiss watchmaker became sleeve sponsor of the Swiss cycling team BMC for the 2017 season, 08/10/2016. TAG Heuer is Official Timekeeper of the Australian racing cyclist Cadel Evans Great Ocean Race (UCI WorldTour, held on 28 and 29/01/2017), from 25.01.2017.
