Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich launch TV channel FC Bayern.tv live, with its partner Deutsche Telekom

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) have launched its linear TV channel "FC Bayern.tv live" (on 27/02/2017), announced the Bavarian club on 23/02/2017. "The channel is accessible in high definition via EntertainTV (TV service of Deutsche Telekom), the official club website and the FC Bayern smartphone apps. FC Bayern.tv live is available at €5.95 per month," said the club. FC Bayern.tv live, which broadcasts seven days a week, 24 hours a day, is free for all fans in the first week of the channel, from 27/02 to 05/03/2017.

"FC Bayern.tv live makes us the first German club with its own linear TV channel. We're proud to launch this channel in cooperation with our main partner Telekom. It's a new way to reach out to our many fans," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, chairman of FC Bayern München AG, on 23/02/2017. The first 12 months are free for customers of Deutsche Telekom, the German telecommunications group which extended as the main shirt sponsor of Bayern Munich until the end of the 2022-23 season, on 13/08/2015.
