Premier League: Peter Moore will succeed Ian Ayre as the CEO of Liverpool FC

The Englishman Peter Moore has been appointed the CEO of Liverpool FC (Premier League), on 27/02/2017. Currently director of the American video game publisher EA Sports, he will take his new position in June 2017.

Before joining EA Sports in 2007, Peter Moore (62 years old), held management positions at the US computer and software Microsoft, the Japanese video game developer Sega, and the American sportswear company Reebok.

The post of CEO of Liverpool FC was occupied by Ian Ayre until late February 2017. The latter's departure, originally announced on 14/03/2016, was scheduled to take place in May 2017, before the end date was advanced. Ian Ayre (53 years old) is expected to join the club TSV 1860 Munich (2.Bundesliga) at a date which has not yet been formalised.
