Facebook: 74.98 million fans in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (March 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM season have a cumulative 74.98 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/03/2017. The Serie A TIM is ranked third among the European Top 5 leagues on Facebook, behind the Premier League and LaLiga Santander, with 3.75 million fans on average per club.

Juventus remain the most followed Italian club, with 25.31 million fans. AS Roma are the Italian club which gained the most new fans since early February 2017 (+99,464, +1.2%). Juventus and Roma are among the two Italian clubs of the 12 clubs in the Top 5 leagues to have gained more than 50,000 new fans since Febraury 2017.

13 clubs in Serie A TIM gained less than 5000 new fans since February, a month in which the Italian leagye cumulatively gained the least number of new fans of the Top 5 leagues (228,860 new fans for the Serie A TIM in total).

In percentage growth, AC Milan (-0.1%, from 24,801,000 to 24,787,000) are the only club of the Top 5 leagues to lose Facebook fans since February 2017. AC Milan remain the second most followed…
