Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 23 of 2016-17, Dortmund - Leverkusen draws 79,100 spectators

Matchday 23 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season drew an average attendance of 44,293 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 91%, from 03 to 05/03/2017. The average attendance of the German league is currently 41,005 fans per game (average fill rate: 93%).

Borussia Dortmund - Bayer 04 Leverkusen (6-2) recorded the best attendance of the weekend, with 79,100 spectators at Signal Iduna Park (97% fill rate). This is only the second time this season that Dortmund drew less than 80,000 spectators.

Four games of nine of Matchday 23 drew more than 50,000 spectators, while six games recorded a fill rate above 90%.

  • The 18 Bundesliga clubs recorded an average attendance of 43,325 spectators per game in 2015-16.
    • Average stadium fill rate: 93%.
