FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) - Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1), 6-1, the second leg match of the 2016-17 Champions League Round of 16 (Barcelona advanced 6-5 on aggregate) drew 2.028 million subscribers on average on the pay-TV channel beIN Sports in Spain, on Wednesday, 08/03/2017 (kick-off at 20:45 CET). This figure represented an audience of 12% in Spain.

In France the game drew1.94 million subscribers on average on the pay-TV channel Canal+, with a peak audience of 2.2 million at the end of the game. This figure represented a 42.3% audience share of subscribers for the French pay-TV channel. This is a record audience for the 2016-17 season for Canal+. "This is the second best audience share for a (Champions League) Round of 16 game," stated Canal+.

Chelsea FC - Paris Saint-Germain (2-2 a.e.t., PSG advanced 3-3 on aggregate+away goals), in the ROund of 16 of the 2014-15 Champions League, drew 2.51 million subscribers on average to Canal+ on 11/03/2015. Audience share of 45.7% of subscribers.
