MLS: 22 games of the 2017 season to be co-broadcast via Facebook Live by Univision (in English)

Univision Communications Inc. will co-broadcast, in the United States, 22 games of the 2017 MLS regular season via the Facebook Live video live streaming service, announced the US Spanish-language broadcasting group on 10/03/2017.

This dissemination, geo-locked to the United States and exclusively in English, will begin with the Atlanta United FC - Chicago Fire game on Saturday, 18/03/2017, via the Univision Deportes Facebook page and the video tab of Facebook. The agreement also includes the production of exclusive magazines on Facebook for each matchday of MLS. MLS games will also be available in Spanish, primarily on the Univision pay-TV channel UniMas.

Univision holds the TV rights to the MLS, in Spanish language in USA for the 2015-2022 period. All games are already broadcast in Spanish by Univision, with commentary in English also available. Univision Communications Inc. also broadcast, in the United States, 46 games of the Liga BBVA Bancomer (the first Mexican division, commonly called Liga MX) from the 2017 season exclusively in English via Facebook Live (see below).
