LaLiga Santander: attendance for Matchday 27 of 2016-17, Real Madrid - Real Betis draws 73,103 fans

Matchday 27 of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander season drew an average attendance of 27,588 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 72%, from 10 to 13/03/2017. The average attendance of the Spanish top division is currently 28,090 fans per game in 2016-17 (average fill rate: 75%).

Real Madrid - Real Betis (2-1) recorded the highest attendance of the weekend, with 73,103 spectators at the Santiago Bernabeu (fill rate: 91%). This is only the fifth time in 15 home games in which Real Madrid surpassed 70,000 spectators at home.

Five games of Matchday 27 drew more than 25,000 spectators, but only four games of 10 exceeded an 80% fill rate.

  • The 20 La Liga clubs recorded an average of 28,112 spectators per game in 2015-16.
    • Average stadium fill rate: 72%.

Fill rate: less than 60% for Valencia, Celta, and Osasuna
